What is the warranty on Eastern Township Docks products ?

Eastern Township Docks warrants that ETD boat lifts and docks are free from defects in material and workmanship. Thw warranty period for boat lifts and docks (excluding brake winch and power unit) is five (5) years from the date of purchase. The warranty period for the brake winch and power units is tow (2) years from the date of purchase.

During the warranty period ETD will, at it's option, repair or replace the defective product free of charge. However, if ETD determines that the warranty conditions cannot be applied, the purchaser will be billed for the repair and shipping.

The warranty is subject to the following exceptions ;

1- This warranty covers normal consumer use and does not cover abnormal operating conditions such as abuse, accident, excess weight, improper storage, maladjustement, neglect, poor assembling, poor installation.
2- Damage caused by a repair or an attempt to repair by other than a service center authorized by ETD will void the warranty.
3- Modifications or alterations of the product.
4- An act of God.
5- This warranty does not cover rust.
6- Damage done by water, salt water or ice.
7- Alteration, defacing or removal of the serial number will void the warranty.
8- Removal and reinstallation costs are not covered by this warranty.

What is the maximum depth for installing a boat lift?

With the standard legs, you can install a lift in a maximum of 4’ of water depth. With a set of extension legs you can install a lift up to 6’ deep.

How to choose the right lift for my boat?

To choose the proper lift for your boat you have to take the weight of your boat including the engine, fuel tank full and all accessories. The total weight should not exceed the capacity of the lift. Also you have to measure the width of your boat.
